RESULTS

A group of Calvin men's track and field athletes competed at last-chance competitions on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, senior Isaac Jonker (Denver, Co./Denver Christian HS) competed in the hammer throw at the Baldwin-Wallace Harrison/Dillard Twilight Invitational where he placed seventh with a throw of 174-1.

Over in Joliet, Illinois, a group of Calvin distance athletes competed at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitational.

In the steeplechase, junior Eric Swinson (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern HS) was 10^th (9:21.15), sophomore Nicholas Henz (Oswego, Il./Oswego East HS) 20^th (9:42.23) and junior Jacob Buit (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian HS) 21^st (9:44.55).

In the 1500 meter invite, sophomore Thaine Nederveld (Columbus, Oh./Columbus Alternative School) was 14^th (3:58.18).

On Saturday, sophomore Koby VanderWoude (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia HS) was fifth in a time of 49.06. In the discus, senior Misael Martinez Vasquez (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian HS ) was 21^st (127-8).
