IRONWOOD, Ill. - The Calvin University men's golf team finished the two-day Illinois Wesleyan Invitational at Ironwood Golf Club on Saturday in 22nd place.
The Knights finished Saturday's round with a team score of 321 total strokes to take 22nd out of 37 teams in attendance with a two-day score of 621.
Calvin entered the day in a tie for sixth place after shooting an opening round score of 300 at Wiebring Golf Course, but was unable to match Friday's score on the different course.
Tim Braun (Northville, Mich./Northville) followed his Friday round of 74 with a 75 on Saturday, good for a tie for 15th place out of a field of 212 total golfers.
Gannon McDonough (Pentwater, Mich./Pentwater) shot 80 on Saturday for a two-day total of 155 strokes in a tie for 71st place, while
Jack Marzolino (Byron Center, Mich./Byron Center) shot 82 for a two-day score of 157.
Matt Turcotte (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian) was the fourth finisher with a two-day score of 167, while
Jackson Glanzer (Stevensville, Mich./Berrien Springs) shot 84 on Saturday for a total score of 168.
