COACH'S COMMENT: "Today was a step forward on our goals for the spring season," Calvin head men's golf coach
Brian Bolt said. "We competed really well, and it was nice to see our hard work show up in the scores. 300 was a very good team score, and it turned out to be the lowest posted score at Weibring today. Today's results put us in a good position to play Ironwood tomorrow to see if we can improve our overall finish.
"We also completed our rounds just in time to attend a Good Friday service as a team here in Bloomington. We are looking forward to competing against tomorrow."
NEXT UP: Calvin men's golf will return to action for day two at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational tomorrow (Saturday, April 8) when it plays at Ironwood GC.
