COACH'S COMMENT: "It was great for us to participate in the AQ this spring," Calvin head men's golf coach
Brian Bolt said. "It's excellent competition and good practice under stress, which our team needs. We did not perform very well as a team, but there were good signs for the future.
"Two first-year players stood out.
Matt Turcotte turned in three good rounds, each better than the last, and he finished in the top 10 of performers.
Jack Marzolino was a star. Across the 54 holes of the tournament he was the medalist with the best score overall. He cared 73, 74, and today finished with a stellar 69. Both of these players will be building blocks for our teams in future years."
