ADRIAN, Mich. - The Calvin men's golf team resumed conference play on Saturdy at the MIAA Jamboree #3 event held at Hills of Lenawee Golf Club.

The Knights recorded a team score of 319 for the round, good for fourth place at the event.

Jack Marzolino (Byron Center, Mich./Byron Center) led the way for Calvin with a round of 75, followed right behind by Jacob Siebenga (Surrey, B.C./Surrey Christian) with a round of 76. 

Marzolino's score was fourth-best of all players in the round, while Siebenga's 76 has him fifth on the MIAA leaderboard through the first three legs (of six) during conference play with an average score of 75.33.

Louis Breems (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) carded an 81 while playing as an individual, while Gannon McDonough (Pentwater, Mich./Pentwater) and Tim Braun (Northville, Mich./Northville) rounded out the Calvin top four with rounds of 82 and 85, respectively.

COACH'S COMMENT: "We didn't show up today the way we wanted to," Calvin men's golf coach Brian Bolt said. "We got a few good performances, but not a full team effort. We're not halfway through the MIAA and we've got a lot of work to do in the second half."

NEXT UP: Calvin men's golf returns to action on Monday, October 10, when it plays in the fourth and final MIAA Jamboree event held at Kalmazoo Country Club. Players will start teeing off at 1 PM.
