COACHES COMMENT: "A very good all-around team victory today," said Calvin head women's lacrosse coach Blake Boehm. "Our defense was very good and set the tone for the game. Our team is getting comfortable with each other and the different roles that everyone fills and that has helped build positive momentum. We have players starting to emerge more and more in their roles which is important given the fact that we are facing everyone in our league multiple times. Our league will create familiarity with each other due to that which will force others to step up and create some new wrinkles. We have a very big challenge ahead of us to open our official conference season next Wednesday."
NEXT UP: Calvin will host rival Hope next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the official conference opener for both teams.
