GRAND WOODS PARK, Mich. - The Calvin men's cross country reserves competed at the Lansing Community College Invitational on Friday and took third place with a team score of 115 points.
Senior Charlie Kornoelje (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS) led Calvin finishing 16th in a time of 27:12 while senior Nathan Klaasen (Jenison, Mich./Unity Christian HS) was 17th in a time of 27:17.
Junior Thomas Noble (Denver, Co./Denver Christian HS) was 26th in 27:38.
Sophomore Jacob Buit (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian HS) was 28th in 27:43.
Senior Michael Sisko (Algonquin, Il./Harvest Christian HS) was 43rd in 28:33.
Sophomore Hayden VerHill (Pittsburgh, Pa./Trinity Christian HS) was 59th in 29:08.
Junior Derek Sall (Grandville Mich./Calvin Christian HS) was 64th in 29:17.
Freshman Trent Silvis (Chesapeake, Va./Stonebridge High School) was 106th in 31:08.
Grand Rapids Community College took first place in the team standings with a score of 104 points.
