Five members of the Calvin cross country program have received All-MIAA honors.
On the women's side, senior
Sophie Bull has been named to the All-MIAA First Team while senior
Catie Kramer (Pickering, Ontario/Dunbarton HS) and freshmen
Brynn Ellenbecker and
Emma Wierenga have been named to the All-MIAA Second Team. On the men's side, sophomore
Vaughn Meyer has been named to the All-MIAA Second Team.
WOMEN'S TEAM
SOPHIE BULL (DENVER, CO./DENVER CHRISTIAN HS)
Bull is receiving First Team All-MIAA honors for the third straight year. At the MIAA Championships, Bull took fourth with a time of 21:49. She was named MIAA Runner of the Week twice this fall.
BRYNN ELLENBECKER (ITASCA, IL./LAKE PARK HS)
Ellenbecker is receiving All-MIAA Second Team accolades for the first time. She placed ninth at the MIAA Championships with a time of 22:27.
EMMA WIERENGA (GRAFTON, MASS./WHITINSVILLE CHRISTIAN HS)
Wierenga is receiving All-MIAA Second Team honors for the first time. She placed 10
th at the MIAA Championships with a time of 22:27.
MEN'S TEAM
VAUGHN MEYER (DEXTER, Mich./DEXTER HS)
Meyer is receiving All-MIAA Second Team honors for the first time. He placed 10
th at the MIAA Championships with a time of 25:32.
Both Calvin cross country teams are preparing to compete at the Great Lakes Regional Championships November 15 at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
