COACHES COMMENTS: "
Ryan Sarkett did a nice job setting the tone and getting the team out in a competitive spot in the pack," said head coach
Nicole Kramer. "It was a battle out there on another warm day, and we gained key experience for our underclassmen. Unfortunately, three of our runners experienced heat illness effects, which played a major role in the race. Our open race runners did an excellent job preparing for the late race, with
Jack DeKruyter and
Evan Spronk having career PR's and strong pack running throughout."
UP NEXT: The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, November 1st when they travel to Olivet, Michigan to compete in the MIAA Championships at 12 PM.
