WAUKESHA, Wisc. - Calvin gained a 10-5 victory at Carroll College Friday night.

The Knights (2-1) trailed 3-2 at halftime and later fell behind 5-3 in the second half but roared back with seven unanswered goals to gain the win.

Freshman Megan Gilbert scored four second half goals and finished the game with five goals overall to go with two assists.

Junior Jaimie Van De Burg had two goals and and an assist. Senior Skylnn Gyuro had two goals while senior Lauryn Slachter added a goal and an assist.

Sophomore Emma Verrett tallied three assists and six ground balls.

Senior Ellis Chalfant and sophomore Meghan Economou combined on the win in goal for Calvin with Chalfant chalking up eight saves and Economou three.

Calvin will host Siena Heights next Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
