ORLANDO, FL - Calvin closed out its spring trip to Florida with a 7-2 loss to Carthage College Thursday morning. The Knights are now 2-7 on the year.

Carthage took a commanding lead by sweeping the three doubles points. Calvin's two singles points came from Ellie Benzel at four singles and Liz Turner at five singls. Benzel was a 6-4, 7-5 winners while Turner recorded a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Calvin will now prepare for its MIAA opener as the Knights host Alma on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
