Calvin University freshman Brodie Brown was named MIAA Diver of the Week for swimming and diving on Monday.
 
Brown (Hamilton, Mich./Hamilton) won the honor for his performance at the Be Better; Invite hosted by University of Michigan on Friday, September 25.
 
In his first collegiate meet (not scored officially), Brown recorded scores of 205 points off the one-meter diving board and 182 off the three-meter board to place as the top NCAA III performer at the event.
 
The meet featured divers from University of Michigan, Calvin and Hope College.
 
Calvin swimming and diving will return to action on Saturday, October 17, when it hosts a triangular meet against Grand Valley State University and Saginaw Valley State University at Venema Aquatic Center.
