USTFCCCA WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY D3 TOP 30 POLL - 9-16-26
The Calvin women's cross country team is again ranked in the latest set of national rankings conducted by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association.
Led by head coach
Nicole Kramer, the Knights are ranked 23
rd in the USTFCCCA Division III National poll released this afternoon.
Calvin was ranked 22nd in the preseason USTFCCCA Division III rankings and is coming off a strong showing at the Spartan Invitational last Saturday at Michigan State University.
The Knights took 10
th with a team score of 308 points at the competition that was filled with Division I institutions.
Sophomore
Emma Wierenga (Grafton, Mass./Whitinsville Christian HS) was Calvin's top individual finisher in the race, placing 74
th in a time of 22:43.6.
Calvin will host its own Knight Invitational this Saturday at the Gainey Athletic Complex with the women's 6K race set to begin at 10 a.m. with the men's 8K race to follow at 10:45 a.m.
