Matt Torrell has a unique vantage point to view the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Torrell, a seniorÂ
studying sport management andÂ
business at Calvin University, and his friend and business partner Owen MooreÂ
produced a 60-second commercial with the goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many nations. The commercial is expected to air 60 times during the World Cup and will air in the coming weeks as the World Cup heads into its knockout round stage, culminated with the World Cup final on July 19 in New Jersey.Â
Torrell is headed into his senior year with the Calvin men's soccer program. He was an College Sports Communicators Academic All-American this past fall.Â
