The Calvin University men's volleyball team earned the Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
 
The award honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintain a team cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 or higher throughout the school year.

The Calvin men's volleyball team produced an overall team GPA of 3.421 over the course of the 2025-26 academic year. 
 
The Calvin men's volleyball team closed the 2026 season with a 21-5 overall record and went 7-2 in MCVL play to take third place in the final conference standings. The 21 wins and third-place league finish set new program records in its third season as a varsity program at Calvin.
 
Under the direction of head coach first-year head coach Aaron Sagraves, the Calvin men's volleyball team is one of 1,432 high school and collegiate volleyball programs to earn the award.
