The Calvin University men's basketball team took home both individual and team academic honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Wednesday.

Bryce O'Mara (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc),
Jalen Overway (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian),
Jordan Scott (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth Christian Academy),
Justin McIllwain (Holland, Mich./Hamilon),
Luka Ressler (Caledonia, Mich./Catholic Central),
Trevin Winkle (McBain, Mich./Northern Michigan Christian) and
Zion Ruckard (Aurora, Colo./Eaglecrest/St. Thomas Aquinas) each earned NABC Honors Court honors.
The 2025-26 Calvin men's basketball team earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Calvin men's basketball team finished the 2025-26 season with a 19-8 record overall and went 10-4 in league play.
