GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has recognized teams in the 2025-26 MIAA Team GPA Award list. This award, which has been present for the last 28 years, recognizes conference athletic teams for the performance in the classroom of a 3.3 cumulative GPA or better (on a 4.0 scale). During the 2025-26 school year, 15 of Calvin's 22 varsity athletics teams that competed in the MIAA achieved this distinction.
Ten of Calvin's (MIAA) women's teams received the MIAA Team GPA Award while five of the men's teams also achieved the feat.
CALVIN MIAA TEAM GPA AWARD RECIPIENTS FOR 2025-26
- Women's Cross Country (3.80 GPA) - Receives the award for the 28th consecutive year while placing third on the MIAA list. Continues to be one of two teams - along with the Hope women's cross-country team - to receive the award all 28 years it has been present.
- Women's Outdoor Track & Field (3.61) - Receives the award for 19th consecutive year.
- Women's Indoor Track & Field (3.61) - Receives the award for the 10th consecutive year.
- Women's Soccer (3.61) – Receives the award for the 14th consecutive year and for the 19th time in program history
- Men's Cross Country (3.59) - Receives the award for the 20th time in program history.
- Women's Swim & Dive (3.57) - Receives the award for 19th time in program history and 13th consecutive year.
- Women's Basketball (3.57) - Receives the award for 20th time in program history.
- Softball (3.44) - Receives the award for the 8th consecutive year and 13th time in program history.
- Women's Tennis (3.43) - Receives the award for the 12th consecutive year.
- Women's Lacrosse (3.42) - Receives the award for the 7th straight year and 9th time in program history.
- Men's Golf (3.42) - Receives the award for the 9th time in program history.
- Men's Basketball (3.40) - Receives the award for the 9th time in program history.
- Men's Outdoor Track & Field (3.38) - Receives the award for the 10th straight year.
- Men's Indoor Track & Field (3.38) – Receives the award for the 11th straight year and 11th time in program history
- Women's Volleyball (3.37) - Receives the award for the 20th consecutive year and 24th time in program history.
