Kendall Jordan was named MIAA Player of the Week for softball on Monday.

Jordan (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) won the award after helping the Knights to a 5-1 week with doubleheader sweeps of Ohio Northern University and Adrian College, as well as a split against second-ranked Trine University.

In her six starts at third base during the week, Jordan had 14 hits with a .667 batting average with seven runs batted in (RBI), seven runs scored and six doubles while playing error-free defense.

This season, Jordan is batting a team-best .390 with 11 doubles, two triples and 16 RBI. During her current eight-game hitting streak, Jordan is batting .520 with nine RBI and seven doubles.

Calvin softball will return to action on Wednesday, April 29, when it hosts Hope College in the regular season and home finale. The doubleheader will start at 3:00 PM.
