COACHES COMMENT: "I'm proud of the effort the team gave today and the way they hustled and fought through cold weather," said Calvin head coach
Blake Boehm. "It was good to see our younger kids get some time and play competitively. We talked about playing to our standard today and holding ourselves accountable to executing at a level we've worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately, I think we missed the mark on that objective. We've got a lot of work to do to prepare for our (upcoming) conference schedule."
NEXT UP: Calvin returns to action next Wednesday when it travels to Kenyon College for a non-conference game at 5 p.m. in Gambier, Ohio.
