MIAA INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT SEEDING / MIAA INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE

The MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships presented by Collegiate Credit Union will kick back underway this Friday and Saturday at the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athltic and Recreation Center on the campus of Trine University. 

The competition began last week with the multi-events on the campus of Alma College with the Calvin men grabbing an early lead for first place through the heptathlon competition while the Calvin women are in third place through the completion of the pentathlon competition. 

The remainder of the meet is set for Friday and Saturday at Trine University. 

Competition will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday. Doors will open one hour prior and tickets will be available for purchase at the door. For those not attending, live stats and Live Video are available at trinethunder.com. 

The Calvin women's team is the defending MIAA Indoor champion. The Knights are ranked 10th in the latest USTFCCCA Division III National Track and Field Ratings Index and ranked No. 1 in the MIAA in the USTFCCCA MIAA Track and Field Ratings Index.

The Calvin men's team finished third at the MIAA Indoor Championships last March and later took second at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in May. The Knights are ranked second in the latest USTFCCCA MIAA Track and Field Ratings Index.
