GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Today the Calvin men's volleyball team extended its win streak to seven in a row when it swept the Trolls of Trinity Christian 3-0 with scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-18.

In the second set, Trinity found a spark when it took an early lead over Calvin. Looking to swing the momentum back in their favor the Knights called a timeout before going on a 4-0 scoring run to take the lead. After that Calvin remained in the driver's seat as they retained the lead throughout the set and took a commanding 2-0 lead over Trinity.Â

Just like the second set Calvin found itself trailing early in the third set as the Trolls led by three. However, key kills from freshman
Jacob Kissinger (Lowell, Mich./Lowell), sophomore
Bryce Broekhuizen (Kalamazoo, Mich./Kalamazoo) and freshman
Trevor Munk (Lombard, Ill./Timothy Christian) would put the Knights back in the lead as they went on to complete the 3-0 sweep.
