The Calvin men's soccer team has moved up one spot in the national rankings, moving up to No. 14 in the latest United Soccer Coaches D3 Top 25 poll.

The poll was released Tuesday afternoon and comes a week after the Knights debuted at No. 15.

Under the direction of head coach Ryan Souders, the Knights are off to a 8-1-1 start and are coming off the heels of a 7-0 win at Wheaton College Saturday night.

The Knights are ranked second nationally in scoring offense, averaging 4.0 goals per game. Calvin has won seven straight games and has an unbeaten streak of eight games dating back to September 5.

Calvin returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Adrian for a 4 p.m. contest at Docking Stadium. The match will serve as the conference opener for both teams.
