Calvin University senior Ethan Tiller was named MIAA Athlete of the Week for men's golf on Monday.

Tiller (Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Central) won the honor for his play in MIAA Jamboree events to start conference play.

After earning medalist honors with a score of 4-under par 67 on September 29 at Zolner Golf Course, Tiller shot a 1-over par 73 on October 3 at Tecumseh Golf Club to finish the first two conference events with a total of 140 strokes.

That score of 140 currently leads all players in the MIAA by one stroke and has the Knights in second place in the team competition with a total team score of 575, just four behind first-place Trine University heading into the final four conference events the rest of the fall and spring seasons.

This marks the third time Tiller has won MIAA Men's Golf Athlete of the Week during his career.

Calvin men's golf will return to action on Monday, October 12, when it plays in the Cornerstone Invite.
