Calvin University senior Veronica Skipper was named MIAA Diver of the Week for women's swimming and diving on Monday.

Skipper (Chicago, Ill./Northside College Prep) won the award for her performance off both diving boards in a triangular against ranked NCAA II opponents Grand Valley State University and Saginaw Valley State University on October 17 at Venema Aquatic Center.

At the meet, Skipper finished fifth off the three-meter board with 230.1 points and sixth off the one-meter board with 234.0 points.

This marks the eighth time in her career that Skipper has been named MIAA Women's Diver of the Week.

Calvin swimming and diving will return to action on Saturday, October 24, when it competes in the MIAA Invite hosted by Hope College at Holland Aquatic Center.
