GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin University women's tennis team dominated its match against The University of Olivet from start to finish in a 7-0 win on Wednesday at Strikwerda Tennis Center.
 
Playing in the final home match of the regular season, Calvin (12-4, 4-2 MIAA) lost only six total games to Olivet (5-14, 0-7) in the match on the way to the sweep.
 
The Knights earned the doubles point to start the match thanks to 6-0 wins from both the number-one team of 
Catherine Grissom (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) and 
Marina Ribeiro (santos Sal Paolo, Brazil/Santa Cecilia) and the number-three team of 
Tessa Holman (Washington, Mich./Romeo) and 
Rachel Grissom (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central), while the number-two team of 
Ryan Morey (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern) and 
Julia Hooker (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) won 6-2 to complete the doubles sweep.
 
In singles, Ribeiro, Hooker and Morey each won their matches in straight sets 6-0 and 6-0.
 
Holman won her number-one singles match 6-0 and 6-2. 
Ana Clara Ornellas (Londrina, Brazil/Colegio Saber) won in two-singles 6-0 and 6-1, while 
Catherine Grissom won in three-singles 6-1 and 6-0.
