COACH'S COMMENT: "We appreciated all of the alumni and fan support today and the ability to host on our home course," said Calvin head cross country coach
Nicole Kramer. "We took another step forward as a team by setting up the first half and being in the mix of the race. The conditions took a toll on most athletes, but it was impressive to see
Ryan Sarkett,
Jonas Church and
Gavin Anderson step up into key roles as the race developed. This team is continuing to grow and improve, and we're excited for the next opportunity in two weeks."
NEXT UP: Calvin cross country will return to action on October 18 at the Interregional Invite hosted by Augustana College.
