The Calvin ACHA DI hockey has moved up one spot in the national rankings as they hold the 11th spot in the latest ACHA D1 Poll. The Knights were ranked 11
th in the preseason poll released in September, moved up to 12
th just over a week ago and are now ranked 11th.
The Knights are under the direction of head coach
Josh Petrusma. The Knights are off to a 4-1 start which includes a series sweep over Northwood last weekend.

Calvin is in the midst of preparing to host rival Hope for the first time at the ACHA Division I level as Hope has made the jump from ACHA Division III to ACHA Division I this year and will meet the D1 Knights on Halloween night at 7:30 p.m. at Eagles Ice Center. Hope is ranked 21
st in the ACHA D1 poll released this week. The October 31 contest will be part of three first semester matchups between the two rivals as Calvin will travel to Hope November 1 and then host the Flying Dutchmen on December 5 as part of the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic at Eagles Ice Center.
