COACHES COMMENT: Head Coach
Josh Petrusma, "The first game of any season is often full of a lot of positives and a lot of opportunities. Tonight was no different. I was proud of our effort and compete level against a quality Davenport team that works really hard. We focus more on being prepared than being perfect and that will continue to be what we emphasize as we look forward to tomorrow night's rematch at home. It's a game that could've gone either way, but we got the job done in the end."
NEXT UP: Calvin looks to complete the opening weekend sweep on Saturday at home. The
game will be at 8pm at Eagles Ice Center in Grand Rapids.
