The Calvin University women's cross country team is ranked 24th for the third straight week in the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) top 30 poll released on Wednesday.

Led by head coach Nicole Kramer, the Knights were off from competition last week and most recently competed with a seventh-place finish at the George Dales Invite hosted by Western Michigan University on Friday, September 19.

At the George Dales Invite, the Knights faced off against seven NCAA I programs, with Sophie Bull (Denver, Colo./Denver Christian) leading the way in fourth place on the 6k course with a time of 21:14.4.

Along with its national ranking, Calvin was also ranked second in the Great Lakes Region once again by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday, September 30.

Calvin women's cross country will compete in two events this weekend. The first will be at the Joe Piane Invitational at the University of Notre Dame on Friday, October 3, at 11:50 AM. The rest of the Calvin women's cross country team will compete at the Knight Invite at Gainey Athletic Complex on Saturday, October 4, at 10:00 AM.
