Amber Warners said. "In addition, she will be helping in the training of our athletes, especially our setters as she comes from playing at Sports Performance which is known as one of the best volleyball club programs in the country."
Â
Selman played for the Calvin volleyball program from 2019-21 and was a member of teams that reached the championship game (2021) and quarterfinal (2019) of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament.
Â
A native of Naperville, Illinois, Selman graduated from Calvin with a degree in Marketing Management and plans to pursue her MBA at Calvin.
Â
Selman joins a coaching staff led by Warners, who has led the Calvin program to three NCAA Division III national championships and won National Coach of the Year honors four times, as well as returning assistant coaches
Emily Clark,
Kelsey Sears-Walton and
Morgan DeVries Bream.
Â
"This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where I have the chance to learn from some pretty amazing coaches and people about both the lessons of life and volleyball," Selman said.Â
