2023 NCAA III Cross Country Championships Selections Announcement
The Calvin women's cross country team is headed to the NCAA III Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Saturday's competition will be held on the campus of Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania. The women's 6K race is scheduled to begin at noon (EST).
Ranked 18th nationally, Calvin earned an automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships yesterday afternoon by winning its first Great Lakes Regional title since 2016.
Calvin matched DePauw with 90 points but took the top spot in the final team standings on a head-to-head tiebreaker. The Knights placed five runners in the top 35 include two in the top 10.
A year ago, Calvin took 24th at the NCAA III Championships.
The Knights are making their 18th straight trip to the NCAA III Championships including their 33rd overall which ranks second all-time.
