In the fall update of the 2022-23 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Commissioner's Cup race, Calvin is in second place in the standings with 55 points. The Knights also share the lead in the women's (all-sports) standings.
The fall update is an unofficial look at the MIAA Commissioner's Cup standings. The award is based on the cumulative performance of each member school in the league's 23 sports: 11 in women's sports and 12 in men's sports.Â
Each school counts its top eight finishes by gender. The fall update includes each team's MIAA finish in four men's and four women's sports.
Â
Calvin is in second place in the overall standings and tied for first in the women's standings with 31 points thanks to MIAA titles in men's cross country, men's soccer, women's volleyball, and women's soccer and a second place finish in women's cross country. Calvin competes in seven of the eight fall sports but is scheduled to join all eight with the addition of football in 2024.
