Calvin Volleyball Set to Host Eight-Team NCAA III Regional at Van Noord Arena

2022 NCAA III WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT BRACKET

Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been selected to host the Regional round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Nov. 10-12 inside Van Noord Arena on the campus of Calvin University. 

Joining Calvin in the regional field will be Aurora (Il.), Hope (Mich.), Millikin (Il.), Otterbein (Oh.), WashU of St. Louis, Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Wittenberg (Oh.).

Calvin (25-3) will open the tournament with a first round match against Aurora (22-9) at 8 p.m. Thursday night. 

Thursday's action begins with Wittenberg (23-4) meeting Hope (21-7) at 12:30 p.m. with WashU (29-5) meeting Millikin (23-10) at 3 p.m with all times eastern times. Wisconsin-Oshkosh (30-5) will face Otterbein (23-5) at 5:30 p.m. with the Calvin/Aurora match to follow. 

The Wittenberg/Hope winner will face the WashU/Millikin winner in a regional semifinal match Friday at 5:30 p.m. (EST). The Wisconsin-Oshkosh/Otterbein winner will face the Calvin/Aurora winner in Friday's second regional semifinal with a start time slated for 8 p.m. (EST).

The regional final is scheduled to take place Saturday night at 5 p.m. (EST). 

Ticket prices are $6 for general admission, $4 for senior citizens, members of the military and students and $3 for children ages two-to-12. Children under three are admitted free. 

All sessions passes (good for all three days) will be $12 for adults, $10 for seniors citizens, members of the military and students and $7 for children ages two-to-12. 

The Knights are making their 31st NCAA Tournament appearance and the 18th-straight appearance under current head coach Amber Warners

The Knights are 69-29 all-time in the NCAA Division III Tournament, including 54-14 under head coach Dr. Amber Warners. The Maroon and Gold have won three NCAA Division III titles (2010, 2013 and 2016). 

"We are very excited for the NCAA Tournament," said head coach Amber Warners. "We are honored and excited to be selected to host."
