Box Score For the first time in his collegiate career, Calvin senior Nathan Jindra has been named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week in men's lacrosse.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Jindra had six goals and six assists to help lead Calvin to conference victories over Alma and Trine last week at Zuidema Field. A graduate of John Adams High School, Jindra was also credited with nine ground balls on the win.
He also caused two opponent turnovers.
In a 10-4 win over Alma, he scored four goals and was credited with two assists. He followed with two goals and four assists in Calvin's 15-5 win over Trine on Saturday.
Calvin is currently 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the MIAA. The Knights travel to Trine tomorrow night for a non-conference game slated to start at 7 p.m. in Angola, Indiana. Calvin will then host Albion Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the regular season finale for both teams at Zuidema Field.
