COACHES COMMENT: "In our game against Kalamazoo, we did not have our usual energy to start the game but I was happy how we kept chipping away offensivley and scored in 5 of 7 innings. Against Trine we made offensive adjustments from our last outing against them and put up early runs which really gave us a boost. We scored runs with two outs which put pressure on their defense and was a big key. Our pitching and defense worked out of some tough jams which helped keep the momentum in our favor. These were two good team wins and we are looking forward to the next we are able to compete."
NEXT UP: Calvin is scheduled to travel to rival Hope next Tuesday for a conference doubleheader at 3 p.m.
