COACHES COMMENT: "Overall we are happy to pick up two more wins today against a good Anderson squad," said Calvin head softball coach Becky Hilgert. "Our pitchers were efficient and effective against the Anderson hitters and worked ahead to get a majority of ounts in our favor. Defensively we had a few lapses in game one but but very happy how we tightened it up and focused in game two. We strung together some key hits in both games, especially with two outs and continued our agressive approach on the bases."
NEXT UP: Calvin will travel to Trine for a conference doubleheader Wednesday at 3 p.m.
