COACHES QUOTE: "It was a great day to honor our seniors with two big conference wins to lock up the second seed in the conference," said Calvin head softball coach Becky Hilgert. "We had great contributions up and down the lineup today. I like how we attacked each at bat and we were very aggressive on the bases which put pressure on their defense. Our defense made several solid plays behind Anna and Ellie. Overall it was a great day to wrap up our regular season and finish undefeated at home."
NEXT UP: Calvin will be the No. 2 seed in the double-elimination MIAA Tournament scheduled to be hosted at Trine University next week. Calvin will open play against the still-to-be decided No. 3 seed on May 1.
