"It was a good day for our team because we picked up two more important conference wins," said Calvin softball coach Becky Hilgert. "We came ready to play and were aggressive at the plate. Anna and Ellie gave us two great pitching performances. Right now we are just focused on the next game in front of us. Our league is as challenging as any in the country right now so our focus needs to be on the task at hand."
Calvin returns to action on Monday when it travels to rival Hope for a key conference doubleheader slated to start at 4 p.m.
