No. 13 Women's Swimming & Diving Downs DePauw and Alma

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin women's swimming & diving team posted two victories on Saturday with a split squad in Michigan and Indiana. The No. 13-ranked Knights traveled to Franklin, where they fell to the host Grizzlies, 157-140. The Maroon and Gold downed DePauw 186-113. Calvin won seven of the 16 events in Indiana. The Knights also picked up a home MIAA victory over Alma, 145-80.

"We split up trying to get everyone the races that they needed," said head coach Dan Gelderloos. "The team that stayed at Calvin was very enthusiastic, which made me very proud. We came to Indiana for some tough racing during a tough month to race and I feel that we came away battle tested and got some valuable racing that we will use to sharpen our skills. Not all of the races went our way and I am fine with that because of the way we raced."
