Men's Lacrosse Drops Conference Game at Albion

ALBION - Fighting through injuries and illness, the Calvin men's lacrosse team was unable to keep up with the league-leading Albion Britons as the Knights fell 22-0 Saturday afternoon.

Receiving his first career start in goal, freshman Nate Ray came up with 17 saves. Freshman Tyson Butler had a team-leading four ground balls and four shots on goal.

Senior Luke Bosscher, freshman Ethan Brown, senior Jonathan VanderLaan and freshman Michael Winkler all had three ground balls apiece.

Calvin will travel to Trine next Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.
