Anna (Timmer) Drews was hired as Calvin assistant women's basketball coach in July, 2023
Coached three seasons at South Christian High School, where she worked with players at the freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels
Played four seasons of women's basketball at Calvin University from 2013-17
Finished her career among the top 10 scorers in program history with 1,267 career points
Also ranks in the top five in career rebounds (785), steals (186) and field goal percentage (55.3)
Set the Calvin women's basketball single-season record for rebounds (320) in the 2016-17 season
Two-time All-MIAA First Team honoree, and one-time D3hoops.com Great Lakes All-Region selection
Helped Calvin to an MIAA regular season and tournament championship in 2014-15 when the Knights went 30-1 and reached the Elite Eight.
After graduating from Calvin in 2017, Drews taught K-8 physical education at Byron Center Christian School and Dutton Christian School for five years
