Why did you choose to go to Calvin: When I began my search for Colleges, I really wanted to go to a private Christian College. Once I visited Calvin, it felt like home. The girls on the softball team and the community on campus were both amazing. I have a heart for helping others and Calvin has a wide variety of majors that I could see myself being a part of. I am excited to see what God has planned for me in the future.

Favorite Sports Figure: Jackie Robinson. His courage and drive for the game in the face of adversity really inspires me.

Favorite food: Currently, my favorite is Ethiopian food. I think it's good to branch out and try food from different cultures so my favorite food changes from time to time.
