Started as an assistant coach at Calvin in the Fall of 2016 for the Spring of 2017 season.
 - Defensive Coordinator for 6 seasons
 - Defenseman and Goalies awarded MIAA Defensive player of the week 6 times
 - Defenseman and Goalies awarded second team All-MIAA 3 times
 - Defenseman and Goalies awarded first team All-MIAA 2 times
 - Defenseman and Goalies awarded USILA scholar All-American 2 times
 
Prior to coaching at Calvin, coached at Caledonia High School in Caledonia, MI.
 - Head Coach for 6 seasons from Spring of 2011 to Spring of 2016
 - Team transitioned from a club program to MHSAA varsity team in 2012
 - Recorded first winning season and first victory in the state tournament in 2015
 - Produced 15 players who went on to play collegiately in the MCLA, NAIA and NCAA

Currently coaching travel lacrosse at True Lacrosse Michigan.
 - Head Coach for True Lakeshore middle school (2018), JV (2019-2020) & varsity (2020)
 - Head Coach for True Grand Rapids varsity (2021-present)
 - Assistant Coach for Michigan Mighty Ducks (2018-2019)
 - Head Coach for Michigan Mighty Ducks (2020-present)
 - Won 3 summer field lacrosse tournament championships, lost 2 times in finals
 - Won 6 winter box lacrosse tournament championships, lost 2 times in finals
 - Prior experience coaching middle school at Heat Lacrosse and coaching camps for Power Play Lacrosse
 
Currently coaching Grand Rapids Grizzlies senior men's box lacrosse.
 - Head Coach for 3 seasons starting in 2020
 - Semi-finalists in inaugural season for IBLA National Championship in Pittsburg, PA in 2020
 - Finalists for IBLA National Championship in Lakeland, FL in 2021
 - Semi-finalists for NABLL National Championship in Columbus, OH in 2022
 
Attended Grand Valley State University from Fall of 2004 to Spring of 2009 and had continued his playing career before joining the staff at Calvin.
 - Midfielder for MCLA Lakers Lacrosse club in 2005 & 2008
 - Member of the team that won its first CCLA championship and made it to the MCLA finals in Dallas, TX in 2008
 - Member of 2014 Russian Men's National Team playing in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships
 - Member of the Grand Rapids Dragonfish and Toronto Tigers amateur box lacrosse teams from 2012 to 2018 
 - Graduated with Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science in 2009
 
Gevorkyan, his wife Hope and children Reiden, Penelope and Fenix reside in Middleville, MI.
