Ike Possett was hired to coach wide receivers at Calvin after coaching running backs at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022. He added responsibilities as Calvin football recruiting coordinator in 2024. As a member of the Indiana Wesleyan staff, Possett coached a first team all-conference running back who broke four school records and led the conference in rushing yards and touchdowns as the program reached the NIAA semi-finals.

Possett’s first coaching experience came at the University of Mount Union, where he played from 2017-19 and helped the Purple Raiders to the 2017 national championship and a 2018 national runner-up appearance. In 2020, Possett was a student assistant at Mount Union, and became the assistant wide receivers coach for the program in 2021.

Possett graduated from Mount Union in 2022 with a degree in Physical Education.
