VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH & BASEBALL OPERATIONS 

Harold VanDuyn (Coach “H”) joined the Calvin baseball staff in 2018 as a Volunteer Assistant Coach plus responsibilities in Baseball Operations and Team Relations.

VanDuyn has coached many youth baseball and basketball teams over the years, and was also a registered official in both sports.  He has a tremendous love for young athletes and a passion for competition and enjoys working with and mentoring the players in Calvin’s baseball program.  His desire is to help them become the best baseball players they can be, but more importantly, to help them develop into outstanding Christian young men.

VanDuyn retired from a long career in management with a local corporation.  In addition to coaching, he enjoys volunteering at his church and other charitable community organizations.  He and his wife Sue live in Jenison and have two adult children, Kevin and Amy,  as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
