The Calvin University women's volleyball team is ranked 16th in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) top 25 poll released Tuesday.

The Knights dropped one spot from last week's ranking of 15 following a 3-1 week last week.

Last week, the Knights earned 3-0 sweeps of Wheaton College and SUNY Cortland and a 3-2 win over previously 16th-ranked UW-Whitewater (now ranked 24th) before falling to number-20 Otterbein University in four sets on Saturday, September 19, at Van Noord Arena to close the Calvin Invite.

Under the direction of head coach Dr. Amber Warners, the Knights have two wins this season over teams ranked in this week's AVCA poll against 23rd-ranked Colorado College and 24th-ranked UW-Whitewater. 

This week, the Knights will travel to Alma College for a non-conference match at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 25.
