Calvin redshirt junior Caden Kolanowski has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

A free safety out of Goodrich, Michigan, Kolanowski (Goodrich High School) intercepted two passes and made one tackle last Saturday in a 49-7 win over St. Norbert. He tallied 57 total yards on his two interception returns including a 42-yard return that set up a subsequent Calvin scoring drive.

Kolanowski also had one punt return for six yards and fielded six other punts cleanly.

On Monday he was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week and is receiving D3football.com Team of the Week honors for the first time in his career.

Kolanowski and his Calvin teammates are preparing for a Saturday non-conference contest at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. (ET).
