GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin University football team will spend Calvin Homecoming Weekend in its new Knight Stadium.
Calvin's homecoming game against the University of Olivet is set to kick off at 4 p.m. on September 26 and will be played in the new Knight Stadium said Calvin Director of Athletics Dr. Jim Timmer.
"We are thrilled that our football team and our Calvin community will have the opportunity to celebrate Calvin Homecoming Weekend in Knight Stadium," said Timmer. "We continue to see rapid progress in our final construction steps and are eagerly looking forward to unveiling the new football home."
Calvin played its 2025 home schedule and its 2026 home opener at the nearby Calvin Soccer Stadium but will now move down below the Calvin ring road where Knights Stadium is located.
The contest against the University of Olivet will be the MIAA opener for both schools.
