ANGOLA, Ind. - Yesterday the Calvin women's golf team traveled to compete in the Trine Spring Classic hosted by Trine University.

The Knights finished the day in third place with a team score of 326, twelve strokes behind second place Trine. Saint Mary's finished in the top spot with a score of 307. Hope College and Capital University rounded out the top five with 338 and 371 strokes while Siena Height finished in sixth with a score of 389.

Andrea Diemer (Wyoming, Mich./Calvin Christian) led the way for the Knights when she finished in fifth place with a score of 78. Freshman
Elizabeth Lubowicki (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) was close behind in ninth place with a score of 82 while junior
Ava McConnon (Las Vegas, Nev./Faith Lutheran) and senior
Gina Sonday (Portland, Mich./Portland) both posted a score of 83.

Kayla Adkins (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) also competed in the field and finished her round with a score of 91.
