SAUGATUCK, Mich. – The Calvin University women's golf team finished fifth at the Hope Spring Invitational held at Ravines Golf Club on Saturday.
Calvin entered the day in fifth place following Friday's team score of 358 and shot 351 on Saturday to finish with a tournament total of 709 over the two days.
Elizabeth Lubowicki (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) was the top player on the day for Calvin, recording an 82 with nine pars on her round.
Gina Sonday (Portland, Mich./Portland) followed her with an 86 for the day, while
Andrea Diemer (Wyoming, Mich./Calvin Christian) shot 91 and
Kayla Adkins (Springfield, Ill./Springfield) shot 92.
Ava McConnon (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) recorded a round of 93.
Individually, Sonday finished with a tournament total of 177 to tie for 15th, while Lubowicki and Diemer each scored 178 over the two days to tie for 18th place. Adkins shot 179 to finish 22nd.
Hope College won the event with a team score of 674, followed by Adrian College (680) and Lake Forest College (686) in the top three.

NEXT UP: Calvin women's golf will return to action on Friday, April 17, when it plays in the Trine Invitational hosted by Trine University.
